Questions before you book

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book directly. If you’re using health insurance, check whether your insurer wants a GP referral first, and bring your authorisation number.

How soon can I be seen?

Usually within three working days. If it’s urgent, say so in the form or on the phone and Carys will do what she can, including ringing you if someone cancels.

How many sessions will I need, and what will it cost?

Most people see us three to six times. A first appointment is £58 and follow‑ups are £46, or £210 for five paid together. You’ll get an estimate at your first appointment.

What should I wear and bring?

Something you can move in, any scan reports or hospital letters, and a list of your medicines.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. A friend, relative or chaperone is welcome at any appointment. Under‑16s need a parent or guardian with them.

What if physio isn’t the right thing?

Then we’ll tell you at the first appointment, explain why, and suggest who to see instead. We’ll write to your GP if that would help.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us 24 hours’ notice and there’s no charge. With less notice, we charge half the fee.
